Chiei recently arrived in the US. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Chiei trained at Fitness Apollo Sports Programs, Japan, and was an aerobics instructor for almost twenty years, investing most of her time at NAS (Nihon Athletic Service) in Fuchu, Tokyo. Her specialty is jazz dance and dancercize.
Leo is assistant professor in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at The George Washington University. He teaches Modern and Classical Japanese Language, as well as Classical Japanese Literature. Born in Los Angeles, CA. Graduated from Loyola High School, East Los Angeles Community College (AA), UCLA (BA and MA), and Stanford University(PhD). Began to learn how to speak Japanese at age 17 at Mikawaya, a Japanese confectionary in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. Learned to read and write Japanese during college. Kenji Oyama is currently studying English in the Adult Education Program of the Fairfax Public School System at Woodson High School. He goes twice a week, Tuesday and Thursday. He is at the beginning level. He is also volunteering in the community through St John's, and outreach program for the developmentally disabled.
Shinsuke Oyama has decided to go home to Japan. He is currently working at a mid-size supermarket chain. I guess the air is sweeter over there.
Keiko Hanami is currently living with her mother in Tsu City, Mie, Japan. She is in Middle School. She plays saxaphone in the brass band at school. She also enjoys horseback riding. She is now over 160 cm, only a couple of inches shorter than her old man!
